Eric Stevens joined Pinewood Studios Group in September 2016 as Global Sales Director, with a remit to develop and drive new revenue streams and opportunities on a global basis.
Stevens arrived from media technology and software company Arts Alliance Media where he oversaw a doubling of AAM's market share during his tenure as Commercial Director. He was responsible for a series of major global deals —most notably in Latin America, Europe and Asia, one of the most significant cinema software deals being with Chinese giant Dalian Wanda Group.
Prior to this, Stevens served as Managing Director at Independent Film Company —the sales, production and distribution outfit responsible for We Need to Talk About Kevin, the 2012 Academy Award nominated, Hell and Back Again and Lena Dunham’s Tiny Furniture.
Stevens gained a wealth of experience in distribution, sales, marketing, strategy and development during his time with Ingenious Media and United International Pictures (a Paramount Pictures/Universal Studios company). Before entering the media and entertainment arena, he was a management consultant based in Washington, DC and London working with FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients around the world. Stevens graduated with distinction from Yale University.
