UK Screen Association announces the December Shining Star

7 January 2015

Natalie Gregorian, Senior Receptionist at Double Negative has been announced as UK Screen’s December Shining Star.

Natalie not only heads up Dneg's London reception team, but also looks after all travel coordination/administration (with Dneg's expansion into Vancouver the influx of new travel and hotel bookings in 2014 was exponential), reception training for all new staff as well as looking after client services across the company.  Despite this busy and challenging list of responsibilities, she not only maintains excellent standards at reception, but constantly strives to improve them. She is a key member of the Dneg family and her hard work and creative way of thinking has been essential in implementing new administrative procedures and best practices within the company. Natalie always presents a positive, calm and professional demeanour and is an indispensable and much loved member of the Dneg crew.
On hearing of Natalie’s win of the Shining Star award Sarah James, Head of Facilities at Dneg said "We couldn't be more thrilled that Natalie has been awarded the Shining Star award for December!  Natalie is a true asset to our company: a brilliant, dedicated and creative member of staff who is always willing to go that extra mile to help others. As our Senior Receptionist and first point of contact for clients, staff and visitors she is the perfect Dneg ambassador and we're lucky to have her."

Shining Stars is an exciting recognition scheme sponsored by Allan Chapman & James Insurance Brokers. it is designed to help motivate and reward employees in non-'creative' positions within UK Screen member companies - often fulfilling invaluable but unsung roles. Companies simply nominate a member of staff whose performance has been over and above the call of duty. Each month a new Shining Star is chosen and at the end of the year all winners will celebrate in style at a celebratory meal with our sponsors. Winners receive a bottle of champagne and a certificate and a have a profile in UK Spotlight.
