Animation, Games and VFX are fast-moving industries, therefore NextGen makes it their mission to collaborate with industry experts to make sure the vocational qualifications for young people are up to date and relevant.
Their Level 3 Extended Diploma in Games, Animation and VFX Skills, accredited by AIM Awards, is aimed at students aged 16+, is comparable with 3 A levels and comes with UCAS points so students can progress to University or a Higher Apprenticeship.
Uniquely, the NextGen courses has been developed in partnership with industry-leading employers across games, animation and VFX including :
Blue Zoo, Double Negative,
Interactive Entertainment Europe, Centroid,
The Imaginarium and Ubisoft.
On the course, students learn precisely the skills these top employers are looking for. They will also work to employer briefs, get real industry feedback and have inspiring masterclasses with industry experts.

Graduate Showcase 2017
In the summer of 2017 NextGen held their inaugural showcase of NextGen graduate students’ work, attended by over 30 employers from world renowned games design, animation and VFX studios.
