The Edinburgh International TV Festival brings together all parts of the television and digital world to celebrate the creativity, diversity and inspirational talent in the field, in addition to debate the major issues facing us as an industry. The Festival draws around 2000 delegates from the major networks and production companies internationally.

Edinburgh International TV Festival prides itself in being ‘a global event with a community feeling’, where some of the brightest brains in the business, along with leading TV professionals, help to curate the event as members of their advisory and executive committees.

The Festival is famous for its provocative, informative and entertaining sessions, all created by seasoned TV producers ensuring they are of the highest quality and relevance. Offering more than 70 keynotes, debates and masterclasses, plus scores of networking opportunities, we draw around 2000 professionals from across the globe.

Comprised of masterclasses, debates, screenings, and an array of networking, speed-meeting and business opportunities, the Festival is also a charity, with all profits invested into two schemes, Ones to Watch and The Network, as well as the New Voice Awards and year round outreach activity.

Confirmed names include: Paul Feig, the award-winning writer and director of hits such as Freaks and Geeks and Bridesmaids; Russell T Davies and Nicola Shindler on 20 years of Queer as Folk; Dan Reed, director of Leaving Neverland, and all major UK channel controllers.

Apart from off-site parties and screenings at the Filmhouse, all events take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).
