Golden Wolf’s latest work – the viral, cinematic trailer for Behaviour Interactive’s hit horror game, Dead by Daylight – unveils its newest chapter: Sinister Grace

Rooted in Thai folklore, Sinister Grace tells the tragic story of a once-beloved opera singer whose hunger for fame transforms her into The Krasue – a floating head with a glowing heart and trailing entrails.
Working with Behaviour Interactive’s original concept art and story, Golden Wolf reimagined the world through a stylised, illustrative aesthetic, delivering a one-minute cinematic trailer which balances beauty with the raw brutality defining the Dead by Daylight franchise. The campaign has already drawn 1.8M+ views across social channels and continues to build momentum.
Stepping into the world of Sinister Grace meant more than just crafting another horror sequence – it was about translating folklore, fear, and transformation into a cinematic language.
The Krasue’s design began with BHVR’s haunting concept art. By reimagining the visuals in a stylised, illustrative aesthetic, Golden Wolf found a balance between elegance and gore unique to this chapter.
The process was all about contrasts: atmosphere versus brutality, folklore versus franchise legacy, beauty versus horror. Each iteration – from early mood edits to final frames – sharpened that tension, shaping the trailer into something that feels both terrifying and strangely graceful.
