New episodes available on Bing YouTube Channel and Again! Again!

Leading UK independent producer and distributor Acamar Films is launching Bing: Sensory Time!, a brand-new mini-series designed to help young children slow down and explore the world around them through their senses.

With gentle, playful episodes that encourage children to look, listen, move, notice, anticipate and respond, Bing: Sensory Time! creates opportunities to help develop important early skills including attention, communication and physical coordination.

Created with support from Bing’s early years educational consultant, Natascha Crandall PHD, this new format gives parents trusted, age-appropriate new episodes to enjoy with their youngest children.

The new episodes will launch on the Bing YouTube channel, initially in the UK with further territories soon to follow, and also on Acamar’s global public service values Again! Again! channel. The first episode will launch in time for Halloween with a new video launching every other week.

“For young children, the benefits of gentle, sensory programming are extensive. By creating programming that is designed to help children explore new ideas without being overstimulated, they are able to explore at their own pace and process information in a way that works best for them. Without excess input, their brains are gently discovering new things, and they are better able to notice smaller details that can trigger new thoughts, new ideas, and new discoveries. Gentler programming can also reduce the triggering effect of anxious emotions, particularly for highly sensitive children whose senses are over-responsive. Bing: Sensory Time! episodes approach programming that is just right for children to learn at their own pace, while exploring their senses with Bing. From touching and popping bubbles, to listening to animal sounds, to watching Hoppity Voosh dream about stars floating in the air, the youngest children will explore the environment in a gentler, more approachable way that is just right for them.”

Natascha Crandall, Educational Consultant

“We believe that meeting the needs of the audience is more meaningful than trying to second-guess any algorithm, so Bing broadcast episodes are produced at an age-appropriate pace. With Bing: Sensory Time!, we’re extending the world of Bing even further into a new gentler viewing experience for our youngest audience members. These will be shown on Bing’s YouTube channels and also on the ‘Early Years’ playlists for our global Again! Again! channel. We’re looking forward to seeing how our audience values this new format.”
