Lupus Films is a London-based production company set up in 2002 by Camilla Deakin and Ruth Fielding to produce high quality films and TV series for children and families.

Multi-award winning, London-based studio, Lupus Films, was launched by Camilla Deakin and Ruth Fielding in January 2002. It has since grown to become one of the UK’s leading film and television production companies. Best known for high-quality family entertainment, Lupus Films works regularly with the finest talent including world famous authors, actors, directors, animators and composers. Lupus Films has developed an international reputation for beautifully crafted film adaptations of classic works of literature which have been seen in cinemas and on major broadcasters and SVOD channels worldwide.

Lupus Films productions include: the highly-acclaimed hand-drawn animated feature film adapted from Raymond Briggs’ graphic novel about his parents Ethel & Ernest (2016); the BAFTA-nominated sequel to Raymond Briggs’ original special The Snowman, The Snowman and The Snowdog (2012); the BAFTA nominated animated special based on Michael Rosen’s beloved book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt (2016); the International Emmy® Kids Award-winning animated special adapted from the Judith Kerr favourite The Tiger Who Came to Tea (2019); a hand-drawn animated feature adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s best-selling novel Kensuke’s Kingdom (2023); along with a delightful half hour special adapted from Judith Kerr’s picture book Mog’s Christmas, which aired on Channel 4. For Christmas 2024 they made an animated musical feature called The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland for Sky and NBCUniversal which was show on Hulu and Amazon in the US.

They have made numerous series for children both pre-school and for older kids including, The Pinky & Perky Show for CBBC and France 3, Toot the Tiny Tugboat for Milkshake and S4C, and 156 episodes of a CGI pre-school show featuring a family of bees for Disney worldwide called The Hive as well as a yet un-named series based on beautiful book IP for Apple TV+
