Modelled after its sister events in Cannes, Asia TV Forum (ATF) was first launched as a hotel-based format market for the pan Asian region on Singapore’s Sentosa island.
Supported by the Singapore Broadcasting Authority, the then Info-communications Media Development Authority of Singapore, 800 attendees from 32 countries participated in the inaugural edition. In 2019 Asia TV Forum will be celebrating it’s 20th year running.
Nine pavilions and key studios, including BBC Studios, embellished a growing base. ATF eventually evolved into a bigger exhibition-based format with the shift to Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
